Forged fittings are threaded and Socketweld fittings that are manufactured in accordance with industry standards like ASME B16.11, BS3799 and MSS-SP-79/97/95/83. It is used for connecting the normal bore schedule pipeline and pipes. Threaded fittings are somewhat identical to the Socketweld fittings. The major aspect that is differing them is that these are having threads for instance threaded inserts, threaded elbow, threaded couplings, threaded nipple, threaded unions, threaded plugs, threaded reducers, etc.
