Alloy 28 pipes are providing very good resistant to corrosion especially the acidic and caustic applications that include high chloride and sulphuric atmosphere. These pipes are used at increased temperatures. Also, it is having very good sulphide cracking. Within the oil and gas industry in the hydrogen sulphide containing atmosphere, the Alloy 28 pipes are popularly used. This is due to the material's very good resistant ability to sulphide cracking at the conditions that are featured by a well-enhanced level of carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, and chlorides. A combination of nickel and molybdenum in Alloy 28 is preventing cracking and that is because of polythionic and attack at the time of setup of the equipment.
Alloy 28 pipes are sent for the test to check the quality. The test performed is to make sure that no ineffective quality of pipe shipment is done. Several tests done are pitting resistance tests, toughness tests, and positive material identification tests, etc. Also, we provide the documents to the clientele like radiography test report, MTC in accordance with En 10204/3.1b, third party test report and many more.
