Inconel 600 is chromium and nickel-based alloy that offers commendable oxidation resistance ability at greater temperature along with resistance ability in an atmosphere containing chloride and in carburizing as well. Inconel 600 is developed for use from the temperature of cryogenic to elevated temperature (1093 deg C). The addition of nickel is enabling it in retaining resistance under reducing situations and makes it be corrosion resistant through several inorganic/organic compounds. This material is nonmagnetic and is having good mechanical strength and good working ability and is weldable readily. Inconel 2.4816 Socket weld Fittings are subjected to tests for checking the quality. The tests done are IGC test, toughness test, mechanical and chemical strength checking, etc.
