These UNS S31600 and UNS S31603 fasteners are designed according to the set manufacturing norms and product quality standards (JIS, EN, and BS, etc). The addition of alloying elements like molybdenum and nickel in little proportion is making UNS S31600 fasteners right for the architectural applications in severe settings, from the polluted marine atmosphere to the zones with sub-zero temperatures. SS 316 fasteners are having very good forming and welding abilities.
Furthermore, the austenitic construction of SS 316L Bolts is providing it very good durability. SS 316 hex head bolts rust whereas exposed stainless is unharmed. SS 316L hex head nuts are having low carbon. When it is welded, the chromium carbide that forms don’t depletes chromium and stainless corrosion is impacted deleteriously.
